Abyssinian

   

Abyssinians are one of the oldest known breeds in the world, their beginnings tracing back to ancient Egypt. The first "abys," as they are affectionately known by those who love them, were shown in 1871 at the Crystal Palace Cat show in England. These cats are tabby genetically, but should show an absence of tabby markings. They are an extremely intelligent and active breed that is very people oriented but not necessarily a lap cat. They like to know what you are doing, and want to help! 

 

The average pet price range of pet Abyssinians is $1800-2500. We occasionally have young retired adults available, and their price range is from $500-$900.

 

We raise the four CFA accepted colors of Abyssinian: ruddy, red, blue, and fawn.

She is also the Great Lakes Best Cat, and Best Japanese Bobtail Longhair Internationally. Additionally, she is the first cat to ever earn Best Cat titles in both CFA and TICA.
